ETNA 90A

150,00 €

Silk Scarf, Made in Como (Italy).

90x90cm — 100% Silk

Unisex

ETNA’S FEELINGS is a 100% silk collection, designed in Paris and made in Como, Italy.

The shapes and inspiration for this collection were discovered in inherited books from my grandfather, who was passionate about antiquities. This project exists at the intersection of chance and magic. I found myself becoming a great collector, curating the ruins of art history, and presenting an exhibition of my emotions as an iconographer.

The volcano, Mount Etna, serves as the guiding inspiration for this collection, reminding us of our insignificance compared to the forces of nature, as exemplified by Pompeii. Time intertwines, and this collection offers a fantasized glimpse into our archives where the Hittites peacefully coexisted with Greek iconography. I upcycled these images to honor the memories of ancient civilizations. These scarves serve as totems of stories we take home and continue to breathe life into.

CARE

The safest way to wash delicate silk garments at home is to hand wash them. Air-Dry it and use a warm—never hot—iron setting. Press the scarf on the wrong (opposite) side of the fabric using a piece of clean white cloth between the silk and the iron. If you treat your piece with care, it will last forever.

  • ETNA’S FEELINGS is a drop of three 100% silk scarves, designed in Paris and made in Come in Italy. The shapes are from books inherited from my dear grandfather, passionate about Antiquity. This project is at the border between luck and magic.

I discovered that I was a great collector, a curator of the ruins of art history, creating an exhibition of my emotions, like an iconographer.

The volcano Etna is the main thread of this collection, as a reminder of our fragility in the face of the destructive force of nature: Pompeii has paid the price.

The times are mixed, this collection is a fantasized image of our archives where the Hittites live in peace next to the Greeks. I recycle images in honor of fallen civilizations. The scarves are totems of a history that we bring home and continue to keep alive.
